Qaimo Sawari was built on the idea that strangers can trust each other enough to share a ride. That trust is not automatic — it has to be earned and maintained by every member of the community. These guidelines exist to protect that trust.
1. Respect & Dignity
Every person on Qaimo Sawari deserves to be treated with basic human dignity.
- Greet your fellow commuters courteously
- Do not make derogatory remarks based on gender, religion, ethnicity, language, or any other personal characteristic
- Do not use offensive or abusive language in chat or in person
- Physical contact without consent is strictly prohibited and will result in an immediate ban
2. Punctuality & Reliability
Your time matters. So does theirs.
- Owners: Be at the pickup location at the agreed time. If you are running late, notify the passenger immediately via in-app chat
- Passengers: Be ready at your pickup point. Do not keep the owner waiting
- If you cannot make a ride, skip it in-app — at least 2 hours before departure is courteous
- Reliability is tracked. Repeated no-shows and last-minute skips affect your account standing
3. Safety First
You are sharing a vehicle — safety is everyone's responsibility.
The Qaimo Sawari app includes a built-in Safety & Emergency screen accessible from the main menu at any time, with one-tap dialing for Pakistani emergency services including Police (15), Rescue 1122, Fire Brigade (16), Edhi Ambulance (115), and Highway Patrol (130).
For Owners
- Your vehicle must be roadworthy at all times
- Do not drive under the influence of alcohol, medication, or any substance that impairs judgment
- Obey all traffic laws. Speed limits exist for a reason
- Do not use your phone while driving
- Do not carry more passengers than your vehicle is legally permitted to carry
- Ensure all passengers are seated and belted before moving
For Passengers
- Always wear a seatbelt (or helmet for bikes)
- Do not distract the driver
- Report any unsafe driving via support@qaimo.pk after the ride
3A. Female Safety
Qaimo Sawari includes built-in gender safety preferences for female users.
- Female passengers may filter their owner search to show only female owners
- Female owners may restrict their ride to female passengers only via their account settings
We encourage female users to use these preferences for their comfort and peace of mind.
4. Honesty & Integrity
The platform only works if everyone plays fair.
- Mark "Arrived" and "Boarded" accurately. Do not confirm attendance for rides that did not happen
- Do not create fake accounts or share your login with others
- If you have a complaint, use the support channels — do not retaliate against the other party
5. Privacy
What happens in the carpool stays in the carpool.
- Do not share another user's personal information (phone number, address, workplace) outside the platform
- Do not take photos or record video of other users without their explicit consent
- Location data shared during a ride is for ride coordination only — do not misuse it
6. Route Integrity
- Owners: Only offer rides on routes you genuinely commute. Do not use Qaimo Sawari as a commercial taxi service
- Passengers: Do not request detours or stops outside the agreed route
- Changes to the route should be mutually agreed upon before the ride, not during it
7. Payments
- Never solicit or accept cash payments outside the Qaimo platform
- Never pressure another user regarding fares or payments
- If you have a billing dispute, contact Qaimo support — do not settle it directly with the other party
8. Reporting Violations
If another user makes you feel unsafe or violates these guidelines:
- During a ride: If there is an immediate safety threat, contact emergency services first — 15 (Police) or 1122 (Rescue Punjab)
- After a ride: Report via support@qaimo.pk
- Include the ride date, the other user's name, and a description of what occurred
All reports are investigated confidentially. We take every report seriously.
9. Consequences
Violations of these guidelines may result in:
- A formal warning
- Temporary suspension
- Permanent ban from the platform
- Referral to law enforcement for serious offences (harassment, fraud, assault)
The severity of the consequence depends on the nature and frequency of the violation. Qaimo reserves the right to act immediately without prior warning for serious safety violations.
10. The Spirit of Qaimo
Qaimo Sawari exists because daily commuting in Pakistan is expensive, stressful, and inefficient. We believe neighbours, colleagues, and strangers can share that burden — and even enjoy the commute — when there is a foundation of trust.
You are not just a user. You are part of a community that is trying to make everyday life a little better for everyone on the road.
Saath safar, behtar safar. (Shared journey, better journey.)
